You sell it at the market and earn 120 HPW this means that you made 70 HPW on your initial investment. There are many factors that can affect the productivity of your plants. For instance how often you water your plants, whether you’ve put in fertilizer, whether you’ve removed the pest. Players have to spend tokens and time in order to harvest the forestry plants. After harvesting the forestry plants successfully, players receive experience points and receive randomly different types of wood classified based on their rarity (R1 -> R5). The life cycle of seeds is depicted below. # Factory Initially the factory is locked. Players need to attain a certain amount of wood in order to unlock the factory. When unlocked, there would need to be a certain amount of time before the factory is unlocked. Seeds that are produced in the techlab would have a higher rarity and also are more valuable. Apart from experimenting with different kinds of seed, players can also experiment with animals or with soil/land in order to create various different animals/soil with higher rarity. # Live stock and pets Apart from planting seed and harvesting it, when players participate in HappyLand they are also able to raise livestock and pets. In each stage they would have different forms and shape. Each animal would produce a different kind of animal product. For example, chickens produce eggs, cows produce milk, sheep produce wool. Similarly, they can also buy from other players as well. # Season In HappyLand, each season lasts 1 week (168 hours) compare to the real season. * Day 1 to 7 is spring **-** Sunny weather with a higher chance of rain, springtime is an ideal condition for the cultivation of plants * Day 8 to 14 is summer - Dry weather, plants, and water need more water to grow. There is a higher chance of storms. * Day 15 to 21 is autumn - Cool weather, high chance of hail, storm, and strong rain * Day 22 to 28 is winter - Cold weather, you can only grow specific types of plants during this weather, snowing also causes the yield to decrease Note: All in-game plants will be reprogrammed to have season-dependent effects. Each season will last for 168 hours (\~7 days). The game will announce to players in advance when these birds will appear. During this time, players can play the bird hunting minigame when clicking on the scarecrow on the farm. Upon starting the minigame, players will have 60 seconds to shoot down birds flying across the screen using a rubber sling. The number of “ammo” rocks you can use to shoot is the exact same as the number of birds flying around. If you already used up all the rocks but haven’t managed to shoot down all the birds, you can pay to get more ammo. The number of birds will be set by the game system at the start of the event. If you manage to shoot down all the birds in 60 seconds, you will be able to preserve all your products on the farm. If you don't, however, the remaining birds will cause damage to your farm at the rate of 1 produce/plot for each bird until the event ends. While bird hunting, there will be some birds carrying reward pouches. The number of birds with this pouch as well as the possible rewards inside these pouches are set by the game system at the beginning of the event. If you shoot down any bird carrying a reward pouch, you will receive one of the set rewards. Once you shoot down all the birds, this list of set rewards will be dismissed. Note: If you’re not growing anything on your farm at the time of playing the bird hunting minigame, you will not lose any product if you left any bird alive. ## Pig Racing Event ![](/files/e85AjjCezD2mT1xPuLWw) **Guide** To start the “Happy Pig Racing” minigame, you need to own a minimum quantity of 10 for one type of produce. Here is how to play: **Step 1** There are 6 pigs in the race. You can pledge your choice on a pig in one of the following 3 methods: * Win: Predict the pig will win first place * Place: Predict the pig will win either first or second place * Show: Predict the pig will win either first, second, or third place Based on your method, the reward you earn will be calculated using this formula: (Amount of produce pledged \* player winning rate for method) - 5% transaction fee (burned weekly) **Step 2** After you choose the product type, the system will set the default amount used to play the game as 10 product at a time. You can increase this amount using the unit chips. **Step 3** After you have checked that all pledge details are correct, proceed to input your choice by clicking “Confirm”. After confirmation, you cannot revoke your choice. For example, you predict that the pig “Zeus” will win the race in the first place, so you pledge a “Win” for Zeus for 2,000 tomatoes. If Zeus ends up taking first place in the race, your reward will be: (2,000 tomatoes \* 3.7) \* 0.95 = 7,030 tomatoes. 5% of the reward is used to pay for the transaction fee so you receive 95% of the reward. **Notes:** * You can only make your choice before the confirmation time of the race ends. Once it is over, you cannot increase the amount pledged in your choice. * If you fail to click “Confirm” before the confirmation time of the race ends, your choice will not be recorded for the race. * The deadline to claim the “Happy Pig Racing” reward is at 00:00:00 UTC every day. The reward will be permanently unavailable if you try to claim it after this deadline. # City New HappyLand update will also include a city with 2.5 dimension characters improving the player’s experience of the HappyLand metaverse. New function for fashion NFT for 2.5 dimensional characters will be implemented in order to improve engagement and token price for each item. The player whom you are sending the friend request to will receive a notification of the request **Reply to Friend Requests:** Players can go to the list of available friend requests they have received to accept or decline. If the request is accepted, the 2 players will become friends. If declined, the 2 players won’t become friends. **Cancel Friend Request:** The player who sent out the friend request can cancel the request they’ve sent. If you choose to cancel a sent friend request, you can only send another request to the same person after 48 hours # Helping out **Help out:** Catch worms, water plants, feed cattle for other players When visiting your friend’s farm, you can help them catch worms and water their plants. The game system defines “helping out” as when you request to catch worms and water a tile that contains an unwatered plant that has yet to reach harvest condition. **Helping out between 2 friends:** If you are helping out a person on your friend list, **the cost of the activities of feeding cattle, watering plants, and catching worms will be paid by the person receiving help.** Every instance where you catch worms, water plants, feed cattle, or fertilize plants on each plot tile or each animal is counted as 1 time of helping out. Each player can only receive help 10 times per land every day. # Stealing Produce Similar to helping out, you can only steal when visiting the farm of a friend. The game system defines” stealing” as when you perform the act of harvesting on a tile that contains produce that is ready for harvest. **For Friends:** You can directly visit your friend’s land plot if they only have 1 land. If your friend has 2 lands and above, you can select the land plot you’d like to visit. There is no limit on the number of times you can visit a friend or access a land plot. **For Randomized Visits** Players can also visit a random land plot of a HappyLand player. You’ll need to pay a fixed fee to directly visit a random land plot of another player (randomized by the game system). Your identity will be anonymized while visiting the random player’s land - they will not know your name or balance. The system will match you with a random player with the same or lower level than you. If you do not wish to steal on the land plot you’ve been assigned to, you can pay another to get matched with another random player’s land plot. Note: You cannot steal any produce that is level 10 and above. You steal over 20% of the total produce of any player. You cannot steal over 5 times on the same tile. * The game system will indicate the random lands that are currently not occupied by any “stealers” or lands whose owners aren’t currently online. * You can only steal produce that will be distributed into your warehouse. * You can’t steal more than 20 times per day * There is no limit on how many times you get stolen from per day * You can’t steal from animals that don’t yield produce **Note: All information is for reference only. If players have little time to care for their farms they can hire external workers to help care for their farms. We are introducing the worker feature in HappyLand, workers reduce time and effort spent on your farm. **Types of workers** There are two types of workers breeders and planters: Breeders: responsible for taking care of animals on the farm Planters: responsible for taking care of plants such as watering, catch worm or chase away crows The level of care for your plants/cattle depends on the level of workers. More details as below: **Tickets** Players do not have to pay when renting workers. To rent a worker, players just need to have a ticket. Tickets can be earned via playing a mini-game in HappyLand, or through gift code which is determined by the organizers. **Number of workers** The number of workers in HappyLand is limited, and players are only allowed to rent if there is a free worker in the store. Players are only allowed to rent if they have tickets. Players can rent workers by day, for example 1 day or 3 days, the maximum time that players can rent a worker per time is 7 days, after renting time is expired, the worker is returned to the store automatically. If there is no worker in the store, players have to wait until the worker is returned to the store. **Profit Sharing** When using workers on their farm, players have to share a part of their harvest to the worker. The profit is both in HPW and HPL, and is immediately deducted from their reward pouch. In case there is not enough token in their reward account, the system will still deduct the profit. For example, a batch of tomatoes requires players to care for them 7 times, if they hire a worker like Kelvin, players only have to care for them 2 times. You also have to give 5% of your profit to Kelvin. This is calculated immediately when players harvest their tomatoes. In case when planting seeds, if a player's account does not have enough balance (HPW/HPL), workers will not care for plants, then players have to take over the tending of the plants. This mechanism is used for avoiding inflating and dumping $HPW tokens.\ \ To increase productivity, users are also recommended to upgrade lands using $HPW to be able to deploy more plots per land. # Land Land are NFTs in HappyLand, just like real life properties different location, which determines the price of land. This place is a mysterious place, where there is exploitation potential and conditions are suitable for anyone’s journey to become a landlord. However, the hills can be a barrier to achieving good crops. A minority of discerning people will choose to settle in the **Woodland** area because they believe that this luxuriant jungle place is a God-given opportunity for their dream of having the golden touch. Tall tree shadows will favorably bless any farming and cultivating ideas. This area will have a higher value because it is located quite close to the land of Euphoria. Fertile. Abundant. Hallowed. That’s what you can find in **Meadow**. There is nothing more wonderful than the life of a vagabond, milling around the vast grasslands of the magnificent steppe. This place is heaven on earth, with treasures buried deep in each crop. And an important thing to note is that you need to have a strong financial solid to afford the land in this area. Only heaven-sent individuals own a piece of the precious land of **Euphoria**. This place is worth its weight in gold, providing any guest with an infinite, bounteous resource. The actual landlords would never let go of Euphoria. Every piece of land in Euphoria is like a shining diamond; no one can deny the investment value and outstanding profitability of this land. Owning land in Euphoria is a pride for anyone, but only genius minds can exploit the total value. # Land expansion ## 1. **Feature Overview** The new land type, Wild West, can only be created from the land expansion feature using two lands. Land types of higher rarity will give a higher chance of success in land expansion as detailed below: * **Expansion Success Percentage (%)** \- **Highland**: 25 \- **Valley:** 30 \- **Woodland:** 35 \- **Meadow** 40 \- **Euphoria**: 45 Please note that this operation will NOT result in any loss of land. You’re essentially conducting a little soil “bioengineering” experiment using the lands you have. Should you fail the operation, your land and everything that’s in it is still kept intact. The value of your land DOES NOT change, the land plots inside your land are kept the same as the pre-expansion stage. However, there is a limit to how many times, i.e. 2 times, you can perform the Land Expansion operation for each land. This feature allows landowners to not only expand to create new lands while still not devaluing the high-yield lands. To perform land expansion in HappyLand, you will need to pay a small fee with both HPL and HPW (called **Land expansion fees** similar to breeding fees in Axie). After performing Land Expansion, there is a possibility of getting the Wild West land type, which can be sold on the marketplace. ## **2. Wild West Land Type Overview**
![Wild ](/files/50PIcXA6jw0LvQdHo3G3) **WildWest** is an arid area amidst the desert where water, whether from natural bodies of water or rain, is extremely scarce. During the daytime, temperatures can go as high as 38°C(over 100°F) while at night, it can drop all the way down to -4°C (about 25°F). Due to this harsh, wildly swinging climate, it is quite difficult to grow crops and raise cattle here, resulting in lower yield and ROI than even the lowest rarity Highland type. However, Wild West is far from being completely uninhabitable. This land type simply requires a lot of skill and patience to cultivate. Please note that the **Wildest** land does not have expansion features, therefore two Wildwst lands cannot make another one. Even though Wild West is a lower-yielding land type than others, it is still an extra plot of land that can contribute to your overall profit earnings. It will be your ultimate test as a farmer to attempt to cultivate good harvests here. And if anything, you can simply sell or rent the land NFT to others who are up for the challenge and earn from that instead! # Renting You can sync lands into your game account and rent them to another user's game account. The landlord can set the renting time to the number of days they want, and the renting fee as a specified amount of tokens. While renting as a landlord, your land will be transferred to the tenant’s game account, but the owner of that land is still you. There is a transaction fee of 5% which is used for token burning. After the renting time ends, the landlord will receive their land back, including all the plants, animals, and produce currently on it. There is no limit on the number of lands you can rent out, nor is there any limit on how long the renting time needs to be. **Note: The tenant needs to harvest the produce before the renting time ends.** **How to rent out your land** **Step 1:** synchronize your land if it is not synchronized into HappyLand.
